In Taylorville, Illinois, local authorities are reaching out to the community for assistance in resolving the recent theft of a motorized bicycle. Both the Taylorville Police Department and Christian County Crime Stoppers are actively seeking information following the incident, which occurred over the past weekend.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with Crime Stoppers, shared details of the theft on their Facebook page. The incident took place on Sunday afternoon near the intersection of Vine and Chestnut Streets. According to officials, the thief bypassed security by cutting the cable lock that was holding the $250 bicycle to a fence.
