A collaborative effort between multiple law enforcement agencies in Greene County, Tennessee, has culminated in the arrest of a significant methamphetamine distributor and the confiscation of several pounds of the drug, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) announced.
The TBI revealed that its special agents teamed up with detectives from Carter County and Johnson City at the beginning of the month. Their investigation identified Mark Holt, 55, as a key figure in distributing substantial amounts of methamphetamine throughout Northeast Tennessee.
On February 12, agents executed a search warrant at a storage unit in Piney Flats linked to Holt. During the search, they uncovered seven pounds of meth, a firearm, and materials commonly associated with meth production, as detailed by the TBI.
