Teen Brothers Arrested on Drug and Gun Charges by RCSO SWAT Team

AUGUSTA, Ga. () – On Thursday, January 22nd, at 10:40 a.m., the Richmond County Criminal Investigation Division, alongside the SWAT Team, carried out a search operation on the 100 block of East Taylor Street.

The action was prompted by a tip-off about potential weapons and illegal drug activity at the location.

During the search, authorities discovered evidence that resulted in the arrest of two teenage brothers, aged 17.

Seavon and Zaequan Middleton now face multiple charges, including those related to the findings of the search.

  • 1 count Possession of Methamphetamine
  • 1 count Possession of Firearm or Knife During the Commission of a Crime
  • 3 counts Possession of Pistol or Revolver by a Person Under 18 years old

SWAT Commander Lt. James Kelly, along with Chief Lewis Blanchard, confirmed that the arrests were made smoothly, without any resistance from the individuals involved.
