BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) — The 11th annual Bradenton Area River Regatta transformed the typically serene Manatee River into a high-octane racing arena on Saturday, drawing spectators eager for the adrenaline rush of speedboat racing.

Enthusiasts gathered to catch the exhilarating debut of powerboat racers from across the United States, all vying for glory as they launched into this year’s competitive circuit with the Manatee River as their starting line.
