A distressing incident unfolded in Lake County, Florida, as a 35-year-old woman from Clermont sustained serious injuries in a hit-and-run accident while she was cycling. The unfortunate event took place early on Saturday morning, as confirmed by the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 8 a.m. along County Road 455, just west of County Road 561. Authorities detailed that the woman was riding her bicycle eastward, positioned on the right edge of CR-455, when a vehicle’s right side struck her.
