A tragic accident claimed the life of a 48-year-old man riding a mini-motorcycle in Orange County, Florida, on Saturday evening. The Florida Highway Patrol reported the unfortunate incident.
The collision occurred at approximately 6:38 p.m. on Silver Star Road, near the intersection with Mercy Drive, according to the authorities.
In their initial report, troopers revealed that the man was operating a Honda Navi, heading eastward along Silver Star Road.
While navigating the road, the rider apparently lost control of the mini-motorcycle, causing it to hit a curb. This impact tragically resulted in the man being ejected from the vehicle.

Troopers said the driver of the mini-motorcycle lost control and struck a curb and was then thrown from the bike.
The driver – identified as a 48-year-old Oviedo man who was not wearing a helmet – was taken to ORMC where he was pronounced dead, according to the FHP.
The crash remains under investigation.
