ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Authorities reported that an elderly woman lost her life in a shooting in Orange County on Saturday afternoon.
Deputies were dispatched to the 8000 block of Romerly Court at approximately 5:20 p.m. following a report of a “man down.”
Upon arrival, officers discovered a woman in her 80s who had sustained a gunshot wound. She was declared dead at the location.
According to the deputies, everyone involved in the incident stayed at the scene.
The investigation into this tragic event is still underway.
