On Thursday evening, Savannah welcomed a touch of Hollywood glamour to its community with the Inspiring Dreams Gala: Hollywood Night of Stars. The event was held at the picturesque Trustees’ Garden, drawing residents and supporters for a night of entertainment and philanthropy.
The gala featured live musical performances, gourmet dishes crafted by skilled chefs, and an engaging silent auction. All proceeds from the event aimed to bolster Family Promise of the Coastal Empire, a nonprofit devoted to aiding families with children who are experiencing homelessness in the area.
Taking on the role of master of ceremonies was ‘s Tina Tyus-Shaw, who guided guests through the evening’s festivities beneath lights inspired by Tinseltown. Attendees were encouraged to contribute to local initiatives through their donations.
In her address, Katrina Bostick, CEO of Family Promise of the Coastal Empire, emphasized the importance of community involvement. “We really want those that have not connected with Family Promise in some kind of way to learn more about the families that we serve and the impact that we have on this community,” she stated. “We want them to know that their time, their talents, and their treasures are the things that really lead us and guide us in doing the work that we do.”
