ORLANDO, Fla. – According to the 8 a.m. tropical update from the National Hurricane Center on Saturday, Invest 90L is showing a high chance of becoming a tropical storm in the next few days.

Meanwhile, Invest 99L is also being monitored, though it currently has a low chance of tropical development. Models predict it will continue its westward track toward the Lesser Antilles. Strong wind shear is currently hindering its growth, but conditions could become more conducive to development by Sunday and Monday.

At this time, there are no tropical threats to Central Florida. Keep an eye out for more updates as these systems evolve!
