Two Arrested in Connection with Brunswick Burglary Incident

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — Two individuals have been taken into custody in connection with a break-in at a Brunswick location.

On Saturday evening around 9:54 p.m., officers from the Glynn County Police Department (GCPD) were dispatched to Georgia-Pacific Wood Products following an alert about a burglary underway.

During their investigation, police discovered one suspect fleeing between two structures. With the aid of a K9 unit, the suspect was captured, according to officials.

Authorities soon located another suspect hiding behind a nearby building.

Jeffery McKinney, a 48-year-old resident of Baxley, faces charges including second-degree burglary, obstructing or hindering law enforcement, and possession of tools intended for committing a crime.

Marshall Latimer, 37, from Gainesville, was charged with burglary in the second degree and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
