HARDEEVILLE, S.C. () — Law enforcement found fentanyl and marijuana while executing a search warrant Friday, leading to the arrest of two Hardeeville men.

The search warrant resulted in a “major dug and cash seizure,” a Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) spokesperson said.

Darin Transou and Bryon Stevenson, both 39, were arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and marijuana.

Transou is also charged with felony possession of a firearm/ammunition, commission to commit a violent crime while out on bond, trafficking fentanyl and possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

After being arrested and taken to the Jasper County Detention Center, law enforcement found that he was concealing additional drugs, which resulted in the two additional drug charges, a JCSO spokesperson said.

The search was a joint effort between the JCSO and the Hardeeville Police Department Criminal Investigations Division.
