COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. () – The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday it has arrested two people after a shooting that injured a 39-year-old man in Grovetown.

According to police, the 39-year-old man said he was shot in the Willow Oak Subdivision pool parking lot on Sebastian Drive in the early hours of July 16. He drove himself to his grandmother’s residence on Louisville Road in Grovetown, where deputies found him lying on the ground in front of the garage.

The sheriff’s office said deputies administered aid to the man, who had been shot in his leg, thigh and torso. He was then transported to Doctors Hospital and currently in stable condition.

Police later identified 27-year-old Isaiah Matthew Karausky as a suspect and was arrested without incident at a residence in Augusta. Karausky is charged with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime. He is being held without bond.

Tiffany Reeves, 43, of Grovetown was also arrested on a unrelated firearm charge, according to the sheriff’s office. Reeves is charged with Possession of a Firearm By a Convicted Felon and given a $5,100 bond.

“We continue to investigate the extent of her involvement in this shooting,” Morris said in relation to the arrest of Reeves.
