Savannah Police charge two in fatal shooting at W. 57th St.

In Savannah, Georgia, U.S. Marshals have detained 18-year-old Marcus Thomas in relation to a deadly shooting that took place in September on the 700 block of W. 57th Street. The arrest occurred on Wednesday.

Another individual involved, also 18, named Caesar Thompkins, Jr., voluntarily surrendered to authorities on November 13 concerning the same incident.

Thomas faces charges including murder, conspiracy to commit a felony, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Meanwhile, Thompkins is charged with murder and conspiracy to commit a felony as well.
