The atmosphere at Phil Robbins Field in Wise County, Virginia, was electric as enthusiastic fans filled the stands to cheer on the Union Bears in their playoff journey. The team had recently faced a significant hurdle with the sudden absence of their head coach, Travis Turner, but that did not dampen their spirits or their determination to succeed.

Despite the ongoing investigation into Turner’s disappearance, which has added an unexpected layer of complexity to their season, the Bears have remained focused on their goals. Turner’s family attorney has released a statement indicating that Turner left with a firearm, adding further concern to the situation.
