United Airlines expanding service to Hilton Head Island

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. — Starting in 2026, United Airlines will broaden its offerings at Hilton Head Island Airport (HHH) with new direct flights connecting to Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD).

Travelers will enjoy daily flights to and from Chicago from April 3 to August 15. Additionally, nonstop service will be available every Saturday from March 7 through October 10.

“The continued investment by United Airlines in Hilton Head Island enhances our global connectivity,” stated Jon Rembold, the airports director. “This expanded Chicago service offers our community and guests greater flexibility and convenience. It coincides with the exciting unveiling of our newly expanded terminal set for mid-April 2026.”

The ongoing terminal expansion at Hilton Head Island Airport promises to deliver improved passenger amenities, increased gate space, and a more efficient travel experience.
