Abingdon celebrating its history through interpretive workshop

ABINGDON, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Town of Abingdon recently celebrated its historical roots and traditions during the Washington County Historical Interpretation Workshop.

Local historians seized the opportunity to refine their storytelling abilities while delving deeper into the town’s past. Walter Jenny, who serves as the president of the Historical Society of Washington County, Virginia, likened Abingdon to the “Williamsburg of the West.”
