SAVANNAH, Ga. () — Following a brisk Monday, the remainder of the holiday week is set to bring warmth to the region.
On Monday, the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry experienced typical seasonal weather, with temperatures peaking in the 60s. Northeasterly winds contributed to the coolness, which will ease up during the night. As Tuesday begins, expect temperatures to drop into the 40s under partly cloudy skies. The thermometer will climb into the 70s, marking the start of several warmer days. A weak cold front is expected to pass through by early Wednesday, paving the way for sunnier weather as Christmas approaches.

Both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day promise pleasant conditions, featuring mild morning temperatures in the 50s and mostly sunny afternoons reaching the 70s. The area will stay dry and warm throughout the week and into the early weekend. Anticipate a cold front moving through the region between Sunday and Monday, which could usher in significantly cooler temperatures.
