AUGUSTA, Ga. — The recently unveiled Player Services Building at Augusta National has quickly become the talk of the Masters, earning high praise from the participants. Positioned next to the Tournament Practice Area and the caddie shack, this cutting-edge facility is making its debut at this year’s event.
Fred S. Ridley, Chairman of Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament, expressed his enthusiasm for the new building, stating, “This enhancement provides Masters competitors with unparalleled facilities from the moment they arrive until they leave, setting a new standard in sports.” Ridley made these comments as he introduced the facility ahead of the 2025 Masters.

The building boasts a wide array of amenities, including a players’ lounge, a dining area, a terrace with seating that offers views of the Tournament Practice Area, and an underground parking garage.
Cameron Smith from Australia, who is participating in his 10th Masters, shared his impressions: “It’s world-class, just as we’ve come to expect from Augusta National. We didn’t anticipate anything less. It’s truly remarkable. The locker room, dining space, and gym are all exceptional. There are absolutely no shortcomings. Everyone is genuinely pleased with it.”
Since the Tournament’s inception, up until 2025, players have used the iconic clubhouse’s second-floor locker room. The new facility significantly expands space and provides players with state-of-the-art amenities.
“Favorite part about it? Probably the new locker room,” Smith said. “The locker room upstairs here in the clubhouse is great, and it’s got its history and stuff, but it wasn’t very big. I think everyone is really pumped about the space that we’ve got. The lockers are awesome. They’ve got a charger in there for our TrackMans and stuff. Then the recovery facility downstairs is pretty special.”
Chairman Ridley will hold his annual news conference on Wednesday morning at Augusta National Golf Club. Take the tour of the new Player Services Building below:
