URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — The City of Urbana has announced the start of its 2025 Market at the Square season.

Beginning on Saturday, vendors selling everything from Illinois-grown produce, plants and flowers, farm products like meat, eggs, honey, to fresh baked goods will be back at the corner of Illinois and Vine Streets.

The farmers market runs rain or shine from 7 a.m. to noon each Saturday through October. This will be the 46th year of the market.

“This is going to be another great season for Urbana’s Market at the Square,” said Bryan Heaton, Urbana’s Market coordinator. “Come on out and enjoy locally sourced fresh food, local artisans, engaging community groups, and everyone’s favorite food trucks in the area.”

Vendors will accept cash, and many also accept credit, debit and electronic payments. Customers wishing to use their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits should bring their LINK card to the information tent in the north row of the Market.
