Suspect arrested after 'multiple' people stabbed in Urbana Sunday evening

URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — A tumultuous scene unfolded in Urbana on Sunday evening, resulting in four individuals being hospitalized with injuries ranging from minor cuts to life-threatening stab wounds. The incident was reported as a “large fight” that erupted around 5:45 p.m. in the vicinity of Hunter Street and Lierman Avenue.

Upon receiving the call, officers from the Urbana Police Department swiftly made their way to the scene. While en route, they were informed that at least one person had sustained a stabbing injury. However, upon arrival, the situation proved more serious, with multiple people having been stabbed or cut.
