Armed and dangerous: Police seek female suspect in Augusta shooting

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is reaching out to the community for assistance in finding a suspect involved in a recent shooting incident.

The suspect, identified as Yolanda Adams, who sometimes uses the alias “Yolanda Daggett,” is being sought in connection with an Aggravated Assault case that took place on the 2700 block of Brenda Court in Augusta on Sunday, November 23rd.

According to officials, during a physical confrontation, Adams allegedly brandished a firearm and shot another woman.

Authorities warn that Adams is considered Armed and Dangerous. She is reportedly known to frequent areas such as Deans Bridge Road, Lumpkin Road, Gordon Highway, East Boundary, and Bungalow Road.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office also noted that Adams has a habit of changing her hairstyle and hair color.
