Urgent: Warrenville’s Pleasant Pointe Residents Under VPSA Water System Boil Advisory

WARRENVILLE, S.C. () – Residents living in the Pleasant Pointe subdivision need to be aware of a Boiling Water Advisory by Valley Public Service Authority Water System.

Authorities announced that water service was disrupted to address unexpected repairs within the system. Once water supply is reinstated, residents who experienced a loss of water or low pressure are strongly advised to boil their water for at least one minute before using it for drinking or cooking. This advisory will remain in place until further notice.

While no contamination has been confirmed, officials note that the service interruption carries a risk of potential contamination. As a precaution, affected customers should continue boiling their water vigorously for a full minute before consumption or culinary use, until they receive a notification lifting the advisory.

Additionally, residents are cautioned against using ice made from unboiled water for drinking purposes.

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) is actively collaborating with the water system to resolve the issue.

If you should have any questions concerning this notice, you can contact the water system at (803) 593-2053.
