In a chilling incident from Arizona, a man reportedly admitted to murdering his parents during a 911 call. Court documents reveal that Jonathan Turk, aged 29, is accused of brutally attacking his parents, Fraser and Tina Turk, with both a hammer and a knife.

The bodies of Fraser Turk, 63, and Tina Turk, 56, were discovered in their Peoria residence on March 31. The tragic discovery followed a call Turk made to emergency services at approximately 6:29 p.m. During this call, he allegedly confessed to the killings, citing anger over being prescribed medication as his motive, according to details obtained by FOX 10 Phoenix.

After his confession, Turk reportedly informed dispatchers that he would be waiting outside for the police, identifiable by a water bottle he would be holding, as stated by investigators.

The couple, Fraser and Tina Turk, are remembered through a photograph shared on social media, capturing them in happier times. Their deaths have left a profound impact on the community as authorities continue their investigation into this shocking case.

Officers later recovered a hammer and knife believed to have been used in the attack from a trash can inside the home, according to court records cited by FOX 10 Phoenix. Turk declined to speak with investigators after his arrest.

Prosecutors say the case follows a history of mental health concerns. Court documents indicate the victims had filed multiple mental health petitions involving Turk, including three in 2026.

“We have concerns about his mental health and mental stability at this time,” a prosecutor said during a court hearing.

Neighbors described the killings as shocking, though some said they had felt uneasy around Turk prior to the violence.

“I saw the mother, and she was normal and very kind,” one neighbor told FOX 10 Phoenix.

Another neighbor said they avoided him altogether, recalling a “bad feeling” when he was nearby.

“It was just a gut feeling. Like, a bad feeling. Like something was not right,” the neighbor said. “I just always tried to walk on the other side of the street when I saw him out, and I just felt really uncomfortable because I have kids.”

A friend paid tribute to the couple, writing that they are “struggling to understand such a senseless killing,” describing the couple as “two beautiful souls” who had been married for decades.

“They were the definition of a model couple,” the friend wrote on his Facebook. “They were an anchor of kindness and devotion… My heart is absolutely broken, and I will miss them beyond measure.”

Turk faces two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of second-degree murder. His bond was set at $2 million cash-only, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 9.
