Police: Missing Virginia coach sought for sex crimes

The Virginia State Police have issued warrants for Travis Turner, the head football coach at Union High School, who is currently missing. Turner faces several charges related to sex crimes involving minors.

A press release indicates that Turner, aged 46 and from Appalachia, is charged with ten offenses. These include five counts of possessing child pornography and five counts of using a computer to solicit a minor.

Turner disappeared on Thursday, November 20, just as VSP agents were en route to interview him as part of the early investigation. He reportedly left before they arrived.
