ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — Saturday is Free Museum Day in St. Petersburg, with some of the city’s top attractions offering free entry for one day only.
The event was organized by the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance, which said the day is about “making art and culture accessible to all.”
Whether you want to explore science, art or history, there’s something for everybody to enjoy.
Free entry for all visitors:
- The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art (SOLD OUT)
- The Florida Holocaust Museum (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
- St. Petersburg Museum of History (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
- Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
- The Woodson African American Museum of Florida (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
- The museum is offering other special events on Saturday, including face painting, storytelling and drum circles.
- Imagine Museum (10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday)
- Museum of Motherhood (12 p.m. to 6 p.m.)
Free entry for Pinellas County residents (must have valid ID):
- The Dalí Museum (Registration required, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
- Museum of Fine Arts St. Petersburg (Registration required, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
