Wanted Man Arrested During Search for Runaway

The search for a runaway turned up something else – a wanted man. Officers and CPS went to a North Avenue home to look for a reported runaway child and were given consent to search the home.

They discovered a man with an open warrant for parole violation. Officers took 41-year-old Jason Frye into custody for parole violation and booked him into the Scioto County Jail.

This was his 15th Arrest. U.S. Marshals arrested him back in November for a parole violation, and he served six days. Frye, a convicted burglar, was released on parole in 2017 and has been arrested seven times for parole violations.
