ORLANDO, Fla. – A tree caught fire on Tuesday at Universal’s Islands of Adventure after a suspected lightning strike, according to video taken by a parkgoer.
The person who took the video was in line for the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey attraction when he started recording the flames near the queue.
He told News 6 it was a lightning strike that started the fire near the attraction.
Orlando Fire Department units were dispatched to the scene around 7:30 p.m. and the call was cleared 30 minutes later.
There were no reports of any injuries.
This isn’t the first time a fire broke out at a theme park.
Most recently, a fire happened at Disney’s Epcot earlier this year after a fire was started from a walk-in cooler in the backstage area of the France Pavilion.

The park had to evacuate the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure ride during the incident, and no injuries were reported.
Tuesday’s fire also comes days after two buses at Universal Orlando’s bus depot caught fire.
It’s not clear how the fire started or if anyone was inside either bus at the time.
