Events in Savannah impacted by weather: List

SAVANNAH, Ga. () — Due to storms and inclement weather forecasted for this weekend, the City of Savannah is informing residents of postponed and rescheduled events.

The following events have been postponed until further notice:

  • The Child Development Associate (CDA) Program, originally scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., has been postponed.
  • The Fall Garden Kick-Off Event has also been postponed.

The following events remain on schedule:

  • Youth Tackle Football (RLS) at Daffin Park,
  • Various Community Center Rentals (RLS) is on schedule.

The Adult Field Day Special Event (RLS) at Minnick Park has been rescheduled. A new date and time have not been provided by the city at this time.

Additionally, the Pennsylvania Avenue Resource Center will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and all city community centers will be closed on Sunday, Sept. 28.
