Weekend Weather: Central Florida to experience rain and storms

ORLANDO, Fla. – If you like waking up to rain and storms, parts of Central Florida will be in like.

A weak cold front in north Florida will send a line of rain and storms to Central Florida by sunrise Saturday.

A few downpours or storms will be possible after midnight.

Future radar Saturday morning

The highest chance for rain north of Orlando will come before sunrise.

Saturday morning

The best chance of rain and storms around and along I-4 will be around sunrise.

The line of storms will move south of I-4 late in the morning. This is the best shot for a few storms to be strong.

Saturday morning

The bulk of Saturday afternoon will be dry with breaks in the clouds, especially north of Orlando.

Highs climb into the mid-to-upper 80s with decreasing humidity through the evening.

Highs Sunday will jump back to around 90, but it will be comfortably hot with lower humidity sticking around through the start of the work week.
