Friday Night Update: Prepare for a delightful Saturday ahead! While the early morning might greet you with a slight chill, the afternoon promises to be nothing short of stunning.
Dominated by high pressure, we can anticipate plenty of sunshine. A gentle breeze from the southwest will blow in, ushering warmer temperatures. Look forward to highs reaching into the lower 80s.
As Saturday evening rolls in, expect a gradual increase in cloud cover, signaling the upcoming shift in weather.
Sunday brings a noticeable change as a cold front approaches our region. There’s no need to scrap your plans, but be ready for a shift in the day’s atmosphere.
The morning hours on Sunday are likely to stay mostly dry, though you’ll notice the winds starting to strengthen, with gusts reaching between 20-25 mph at times. The front is set to pass through in the afternoon, accompanied by a scattered line of showers.
Right now, the ingredients for severe weather look pretty limited, so we’re not expecting a major storm event. However, a few rumbles of thunder are certainly possible as the line moves through. The best chance for rain looks to be from the early afternoon through the evening. It won’t be an all-day washout, but you’ll want to have the umbrella handy for the second half of the day.
Once the front clears out Sunday night, get ready for some classic fall weather! Cool, dry air will settle in for the start of the workweek. We’re looking at a stretch of pleasant, dry weather with daytime highs feeling comfortable and overnight lows getting chilly, likely dipping down into the 40s on several nights.
