Wegmans, a popular supermarket chain, has initiated a recall of its Deluxe Mixed Nuts Unsalted product due to concerns over possible Salmonella contamination, as reported by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The recall involves two specific products:

– Wegmans Deluxe Mixed Nuts Unsalted 34 oz (964 grams)
– Wegmans Deluxe Mixed Nuts Unsalted 11.5 oz (326 grams)

The recall was prompted after routine supplier testing revealed a Salmonella-positive batch of raw pistachios, according to a statement from Wegmans. “Upon discovering that these pistachios had been used in the production of our Deluxe Mixed Nuts, we decided to initiate the recall,” the company explained.
