KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Walk for Wellness Health Expo returned to the Kingsport Farmer’s Market on Thursday.

As one of the largest health expos in the region, this year’s event featured 46 vendors, the most yet.

Members of Healthy Kingsport, which hosts the expo, said the event would not be possible without the help of other organizations.

“Kingsport provides this expo to the community free of charge, simply because we want to make sure that the services that our vendors and our clinics provide get to the right people,” Director Destiny Clemons said. “And so we have made sure that we’ve invited the entire community to come out and receive these services for free, because we have so many resources in our community that no one even knows about.”

Providence Medical set up its mobile health clinic at the event and offered a variety of on-site services.
