(KTLA) — Wendy’s will soon allow its customers to customize Frosty treats in what the company calls Frosty Swirls and Frosty Fusions.

Unveiled during a company investor meeting on Thursday, Frosty Swirls will allow customers to add various sauces to a Classic Chocolate or Vanilla Frosty. With Frosty Fusions, customers will be able to choose a sauce and additional mix-ins.

Both can be combined together for new flavors that Wendy’s hadn’t offered before.

Recently, the fast-food chain has released seasonal versions of its famous sweet treat, with the most recent being Thin Mints Frosty, in collaboration with Girl Scouts of the USA.

Wendy’s is also changing the Frosty packaging with a new cup, lid, and a blue spoon “designed for the perfect eating experience,” Lindsay Radkoski, Wendy’s U.S. chief marketing officer, said at the presentation.

Wendy’s isn’t the only place testing out new food innovations in hopes of attracting more customers amid inflation concerns.

Taco Bell recently shared what new items are coming to menus in 2025, and Chick-fil-A shared the return of its Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich.
