ORLANDO, Fla. – The ups and downs in the weather department continue.

A new cold front slicing through Central Florida Thursday may have some people running for their jackets when you wake up Friday morning.

Cooler air is expected to rush in late Thursday into Friday. Most of Central Florida will wake up to temperatures in the 40s and low 50s.

Temperatures will be running about 5-10 degrees below normal Friday morning.

The coolest night of this latest round of chilly air settles in by Saturday morning. Under clear skies and calming winds, temperatures head back to the mid 40s.

Saturday morning wake up temperatures

A few communities northwest of Interstate 4 could flirt with the upper 30s.

After the cool start both Friday and Saturday, dominant sunshine will help to warm afternoon temperatures up quickly.

Highs Friday top out in the low 70s. By Saturday afternoon we’ll push 80 degrees. By Sunday we’re back to the mid 80s.
