NEW YORK – Caitlin Clark is set to release a captivating picture book this fall, drawing inspiration from her unique life journey.

On Tuesday, Random House Books for Young Readers unveiled plans for a November 3rd release of “EXTRAordinary! A Little EXTRA to Reach BIG Dreams.” Through playful rhymes, the WNBA standout imparts a message about the power of perseverance and community support.

Clark’s work, brought to life with illustrations by Adriana Predoi, takes its cue from a motivational phrase that adorned her childhood mirror: “The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is the little EXTRA.”

Reflecting on her career, Clark remarked, “Basketball has opened doors to incredible experiences, yet the true treasures are the supporters who stood by me. I want this book to remind kids they’re never alone in their pursuit of dreams, and it’s the little extra efforts that elevate moments to extraordinary.”

The 24-year-old guard for the Indiana Fever, celebrated for her impact on women’s basketball, has recently made a comeback after an injury-plagued 2025 limited her appearances to just 13 games. She recently contributed seven points in a preseason win against the New York Liberty.
