ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — St. Petersburg Pride is coming up this weekend, and here’s everything you need to know before you go.

St. Pete Pride Parade, Trans March and Festival

  • Saturday, June 28
  • 2-10 p.m.
  • North Straub and South Straub Parks

Free and open to the public, the festival will begin at 2 p.m., with a variety of vendors, food trucks, a DJ, and a beer garden at North Straub Park. Both parks will host the main entertainment stages. Pets are welcome but must remain leashed at all times.

The Trans March begins at 5:15 p.m., starting at Vinoy Park. The Pride Parade will begin at 6 p.m. from Albert Whitted Park. The parade will travel north along Bayshore Drive toward Vinoy Park.

Road closures:

  • Bayshore Drive from Albert Whitted Park to 5th Ave NE will be closed from 1 p.m. to the end of the parade
  • Bayshore Drive from Central Ave to 5th Ave NE will remain closed until 11 p.m.

Transportation and Parking

PSTA Free Park & Ride

  • Tropicana Field: Lots 6 and 7 from 11 a.m. till midnight.
  • St. Pete High School: 11 a.m. – midnight, cars must be out of the parking lot by midnight
  • SunRunner: stop at 6th Ave S, 3rd St. S, 1st St. N to get closest to the parade route. The SunRunner will depart approximately every 7 minutes from the Park & Ride locations, the last ride will run at 11:30 p.m.
  • SunRunner and Route 9 rides will be free for riders on Saturday

The City of St. Petersburg recommends parking at the Southcore and Sundial garages, as those are closest to the parade route.

St. Petersburg also has partnerships with bike and scooter shares that will also be available throughout the downtown area.

St. Pete Pride Grand Central Street Fair

  • Sunday, June 29
  • 12-5 p.m.
  • Grand Central District

The street fair is free and open to all ages, offering entertainment, vendors, food, street performers and carnival games. Pets are welcome but must remain leashed at all times.

Road closures:

  • Central Ave., and all cross streets between 1st Ave N and 1st Ave S, will be closed from 20th St. to 31st St. from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Transportation and Parking

  • SunRunner: Stops East and Westbound at 22nd St. on 1st Ave S and 1st Ave N
  • Central Avenue Trolley: Free to use but will be impacted by road closures, will run on 1st Ave N and 1st Ave S in the closed portions of Central Ave
  • PSTA rides will have full fare on June 28
  • Downtown lots and garages will be open for parking
  • Ride, bike and scooter shares available
