Comic-Con 2026: Blade Runner 2099 & Rings of Power Reveals

Once more, like the iconic snap of Thanos’ fingers, San Diego Comic-Con descends upon us! Much like last year, over 130,000 avid fans (myself counted among them) either have or soon will embark on a journey to California’s bustling second-largest city. They’re all set for an unforgettable 72-hour celebration of this famed convention.

Today’s gathering promises an eclectic mix—replicants, hobbits, journalists, and pop culture enthusiasts will converge in Comic-Con’s most renowned venue, Hall H. Attendees can look forward to exclusive insights into two of Amazon Prime Video’s highly acclaimed series.

This 90-minute panel will unveil the much-anticipated first look at “Blade Runner 2099.” This series, set fifty years after the events of the critically celebrated yet under-recognized “Blade Runner 2049,” is poised to capture the interest of many at SDCC.

Not to be outdone, “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” is gearing up for its third Hall H panel, preceding its third season. Always a significant highlight at Comic-Con, this series is set to return to screens on November 11, much to the excitement of its dedicated fanbase.

The event kicks off at 10 a.m. PT sharp, but join us an hour earlier for a pre-show sneak peek. Throughout the convention, Static Media’s Brandon Rowe will be reporting live from San Diego, supplying Looper with exclusive coverage of the major events unfolding in Hall H.
