The seventh “Mission: Impossible” film will be released in July 2023. However, this will be part one of the final story, with the finale set to arrive the following year in 2024. While not much is known about “Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One,” we do know that the film is bringing back many familiar faces.
Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, and Rebecca Ferguson will all reprise their roles of Ethan, Luther, Benji, and Ilsa, while Vanessa Kirby’s character, Alanna Mitsopolis, looks to be returning for this installment as well. Alanna is a black-market arms dealer who’s the daughter of Max (Vanessa Redgrave) from the first “Mission: Impossible” film.

There will be some new faces as well. Hayley Atwell, the MCU’s Agent Carter, is joining the cast as Grace, alongside “Guardians of the Galaxy” star Pom Klementieff. It’s been confirmed that Esai Morales is portraying the film’s antagonist, and Henry Czerny will reprise his role as Eugene Kittridge from the first film. While Angela Bassett’s CIA director Erika Sloane will not be in “Dead Reckoning — Part One,” she has been rumored to be featured in “Part Two.”
This final story sees Ethan right back where he was in the first film — he’s got a team he trusts and is willing to fight and die for. Let’s just hope he won’t have to, and that the IMF will give this man the benefit of the doubt and stop betraying him. There’s only so much a man can take.
