An influential Republican lawmaker from Pennsylvania split from his wife and is now dating one of Fox News’s most promising reporters.

Rep. Guy Reschenthaler, 41, is dating Fox News digital correspondent Brooke Singman, 32, a source confirmed to DailyMail.com.

The lawmaker and the journalist have been spotted together around Washington, D.C., multiple sources told Page Six, which first reported the relationship.

‘The dynamic looked romantic in nature,’ one of the sources disclosed to the outlet.

Recently, Reschenthaler and Singman were spotted together at an event held at the Library of Congress. The pair dined together at the event, the sources shared.

Reschenthaler, the chief deputy whip for House Republicans, has quickly risen through the ranks of Congress since first getting elected in 2019.

Singman similarly is a rising star, having begun her career as an assistant to Fox News President Jay Wallace before later becoming a reporter for the outlet’s website.

She has since landed exclusive interviews with President Donald Trump and now frequently appears on air for the cable news channel.

A source told DailyMail.com that the relationship is not a conflict of interest because Singman does not report on Congress, where Reschenthaler works.

The Fox News reporter and lawmaker were first linked while Singman was covering Trump’s campaign, the sources disclosed to Page Six.

They met during Trump’s October campaign stop at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s, where the Republican served burgers and fries to a select few hungry patrons.

Pictures of the fast-food campaign stop posted by Singman show her in the McDonald’s with the president and the lawmaker.

One picture she took from that day shows Reschenthaler standing next to Trump and a cast of McDonald’s employees.

Around that time Singman interviewed Reschenthaler for an article titled ‘Kamala Harris ‘has become toxic’ for Pennsylvania, top Keystone State lawmaker says.’

According to Page Six sources, the lawmaker and his wife Jennifer separated in November. They were married in Virginia in 2021.

Despite Reschenthaler and Singman meeting in October, they did not begin to date until January, the sources said.

However, Singman and Reschenthaler are not the only Pennsylvania lawmaker and Fox News journalist who are dating.

Fox News Senior White House Correspondent Jacqui Heinrich and Pennsylvania Republican Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick are also dating.

Heinrich and Fitzpatrick have been together for years and images of them adorn the White House correspondent’s Instagram.

Representatives for Fox News and Reschenthaler’s office declined to comment.
