Activists Interrupt Church Service Over Allegations of Pastor’s ICE Involvement

Anti-ICE protesters have exhibited increasingly troubling conduct.

Not only have they been confronting ICE personnel, but they’ve begun targeting individuals they merely suspect of being linked to ICE.

In what seems like a bid to outdo previous antics, their latest actions on Sunday were particularly audacious.

According to Townhall, a sister publication, these activists interrupted a service at Cities Church in Minneapolis, suspecting that an ICE agent had ties to the congregation. Former CNN anchor Don Lemon captured parts of the disturbance on camera.

In the footage, chants of “Renee Good” are audible, along with the familiar protest slogan, “Hands up, don’t shoot!”

You can hear them chanting “Renee Good” in the background. They even did the oldie “Hands up, don’t shoot!”

Lemon actually had the gall to compare it to the Civil Rights movement, saying it was about these very types of protests.

Okay, this is legitimately nuts. No one can justify this. Even if you wanted to protest the ICE agent, why are you disrupting the church where people are trying to pray? You’re saying their rights are unimportant to you, and what you want trumps their right to pray in peace. The anti-ICE crew is claiming that ICE is violating rights, but then they disrupt the rights of others.

The pastor who was there tried to get them to leave, saying this was shameful to interrupt the service.

Meanwhile, Lemon insisted to him that there was a “First Amendment right to free speech and protest.”

They just made a huge mistake with this, because this is going to show middle America, if they didn’t already understand it, how off the rails they are.

It also did not go unnoticed by Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, who said they would be investigating the incident to see if they violated the FACE Act for “desecrating a house of worship and interfering with Christian worshippers.”
