On the day after President Donald Trump‘s inauguration, Alyssa Farah Griffin called out Joe Biden for handing out last-minute pardons to his entire family.

Griffin weighed in on Biden’s final act as POTUS on this morning’s episode of The View, where said it was “prudent” that he preemptively pardon people like Dr. Anthony Fauci and the Jan. 6 committee, who were “political targets” for Trump. However, she was “floored” that Biden also decided to pardon his whole family.

“The most charitable interpretation is the Titanic is sinking, I’ve got a life raft for my family but anyone else who challenged Trump, you better swim or you’re drowning. That’s my most charitable interpretation,” said Griffin, who has publicly spoken out against Trump since leaving his administration in 2020.

“He didn’t do anything to protect people who testified against Donald Trump unless they happened to be wrapped up with the police officers, and it sets a very dangerous precedent,” she continued. “Now, Donald Trump can basically advise staff and his family to do anything unlawful and then just issue a blanket pardon when he leaves office.”

Griffin called Biden’s pardon “disgraceful,” noting that it’s “going to harm his legacy.”

The former White House staffer doubled down on her stance in the next segment, where she further explained why the decision set a bad precedent.

“I think Biden holds himself on this certain moral high ground and he’s setting a very dangerous precedent that’s going to allow [Trump] to basically give blanket pardons to anyone who chooses to commit crime,” she reiterated, pointing out that while someone like Hunter Biden could fall under Trump’s radar, other family members like the politician’s sister Valerie Biden have never been brought up by Trump.

“This feels way too sweeping to me,” Griffin added, while Sunny Hostin insisted Trump was “vengeful” and would pardon who he wanted to pardon regardless of Biden’s actions.

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
