Colleen Hoover has recently opened up about her personal health struggles.
The bestselling author of It Ends With Us recently provided an update on her battle with cancer, revealing that she is approaching the conclusion of her radiation therapy.
“Penultimate day of radiation,” she shared alongside a snapshot on her Instagram Stories on January 12. “I can’t blame my hair and facial expressions on @Texas.Oncology—they’ve been wonderful. I hope you never need their services, but I highly recommend them if you do.”
Hoover’s latest health disclosure follows shortly after she elaborated on her type of cancer, outlining the path ahead of her.
“Today, I received results from the geneticist indicating that my cancer isn’t hereditary,” she noted in a January 9 Facebook post. “It also isn’t linked to the two primary causes, HPV and excessive hormones. This suggests it’s more likely due to environmental or lifestyle factors, such as insufficient exercise, a poor diet, and stress.”
