A BIGFOOT hunter found a nine-inch footprint in the thick mud and thinks that it could be from the legendary creature.

Chuck Headley posted multiple photos of what looked like a large footprint in mud on a Facebook group “Bigfoot Believers” which has 180.6K members.

The print was spotted in Ritchie, Country, West Virginia, about two hours from Charleston.

The photos showed an outline that had a set of five toes and seemed to indicate that the creature came from a body of water.

To show just how big the footprint was, Headley laid a tape measure across the imprint.

While the footprint was shown to be quite large, people took the comments asking the same question.

“Lol, why always 1 print? One step & then they fly?” said one user.

” *sign* Why is there always only ONE footprint? What? Bigfoot only hops on one foot then lands a mile away?” said a second user.

“Always 1 print and usually the left one! Any ideas why??” questions a third.

“He’s one-footed poor guy must have lost a leg.” remarked another.

Others were thoroughly unconvinced by Headley’s discovery.

“There’s a boot print right beside it in one of the pictures the guy probably dumped a bunch of water out of his Boot and that’s where he stood while he was doing and put his boot back on and walked off lol.” a commenter stated.

“Very precise toe prints for sloppy mud…” noticed another.

“And you can see where they slid their foot to make it look bigger,” observed a user.

There was seemingly a sighting of the creature in October, but it has since been debunked.

A couple filmed a sighting from the window of their passing train in southeast Colorado in the San Jan National Forest.

In the middle of said forest is the town of Silverton where Sasquatch Expedition Campers were located.

The company build custom campers and their employees often dress up in Bigfoot costumes.

Skeptics were quick to point out that the creature in the video and the companies mascot looked extremely similar.

However, Sasquatch Expedition Campers put out an Instagram post  that said, “It wasn’t us.”

While Sasquatch Expedition Campers have yet to confirm, it was fairly clear that the Bigfoot in the video was a fake.
