The exchange lasted only a few seconds, but the driver of the mysterious red car startles everyone by speeding off.
Lee then stumbles in the direction of the upscale Portside apartment complex at 403 Main Street, but collapses before reaching the automated intercom.
After lying motionless on the ground for a while, the dying guy gets to his knees and fidgets with his phone.
His blood-covered hands are outstretched as he makes a second attempt to wave down a passing car, but the driver again speeds off.
At some point, Lee rises to his feet, his face colorless, and at 2:36 a.m., clutching his chest, he stumbles away from the scene, leaving a trail of blood spatter on the sidewalk.
The San Francisco Standard said that Lee called 911 and yelled, “Help!” I received a stabbing.
According to the timestamps seen in DailyMail.com’s exclusive footage, which was taken from two different cameras, the police were informed at around 2:35am.

Police allegedly discovered a kitchen knife with a 4-inch blade in a parking lot across the street, but no arrests have been made as of yet.
SFPD Chief Bill Scott refused to provide a motive for the attack and would not specify whether it was random or targeted during a press conference on Wednesday evening.
He answered, “I have nothing to share just yet.” We’ll be careful to follow the evidence and will release what we can as soon as we can because “we don’t want to be premature and we definitely don’t want to speculate.”

Lee had moved to Miami six months prior from the San Francisco region, but he was back in the city on business. He had added an extra day to his journey when he was killed.
Jake Shields, a champion UFC fighter who knew Lee well, said that Lee had recently moved to Miami and had made comments about San Francisco’s decline.
Lee had “no enemies,” according to Shields, who also told NewsNation that Lee was a nice human being and that “everyone loved him.”

At the time of the stabbing, two security guards were roaming through their 67-block route, but were not nearby, Andrew Robinson, executive director of the East Cut Community Benefit District, told the outlet.
