Cops rushed to the scene just before 4 am on Monday and found the Denton County commissioner and her husband suffering from stab wounds.

Officers with the Lewisville Police Department immediately arrested Mitchell Blake Reinacher, 23, as his grandparents were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Fred died at the hospital just after 5 am, cops said.

Bobbie is still in the hospital and is reportedly in stable condition.

Lewisville Mayor TJ Gilmore said Bobbie is out of surgery and expected to fully recover.

It’s unclear what caused the attack.

Reinacher is one of the couple’s nine grandchildren.
