A BODY has been found in the desperate search for a missing teacher who was last seen getting gas two weeks ago.
Investigators were searching for Jennifer Mendez Olascoaga when they came across the human remains on Thursday evening.
The remains were found in a wooded area in a Mesquite, a suburb east of Dallas.
Police have not revealed the identification of the remains, but Olascoaga’s family was told about the search.
Olascoaga was last seen filling up on gas after dropping a friend off at a mobile home park on September 27.
About an hour after the gas station sighting, her phone signal went dark.

Her car was found abandoned the next day, roughly 8 miles from the mobile home park.
Relatives believe that the driver’s seat was positioned differently from how Olascoaga usually set it.
Her family reported that a friend received cryptic messages, asking if they were missing someone and warning she would never be found.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Dallas or Seagoville Police Department.
