A SOCCER mom has shared an eerie encounter she had with a UFO in broad daylight while running errands.

The Travel Channel shared a haunting audio clip from their show UFO Witness on YouTube, which featured one woman’s unexpected encounter with a UFO in the middle of the day.

In the clip, Lauren O’Malley recounted how she was stopped at a red light in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, outside of Kansas City, when the terrifying ordeal occurred.

She was running errands while waiting for her kids to finish soccer practice.

“Everything went dark like a huge storm cloud had rolled in,” O’Malley said.

“But then my car started just glowing.”

O’Malley then stuck her head out the window to see what was going on and looked up to see a huge 60-foot cube hovering over her car, with lights shining down.

O’Malley said she had never seen anything like it before.

“I knew in my gut it was a UFO,” O’Malley said.

“I swear to God I thought I was going to die.”

O’Malley’s UFO encounter was part of what experts call a UFO flap, or a prolonged mass UFO sighting.

Cube-sightings occurred all across Missouri in 2011, one of the biggest known UFO flaps in history, according to the UFO Witness.

In the comments section, many people seemed to believe O’Malley’s story and shared their own encounters with UFO sightings.

In fact, several commenters claimed to have also seen cube-shaped UFOs, specifically.

“Me and my significant other had a close encounter with the same exact craft last year. It lit up our yard at midnight, like day, pulsing,” wrote one person.

“There is a well known report of two fighter pilots that narrowly avoided a collision with a cube like object that flew directly in-between the two jets going the opposite direction,” another person shared.

However, other viewers of the clip were not convinced.

“I live in Lee’s Summit and never have I ever heard about these or seen any UFOs. On the other hand, we are close to Whiteman Air Force Base, where B-2 bombers are based, and they are always flying over my house on the way to Arrowhead Stadium for the Kansas City Chiefs games,” wrote one person.

“Anyone get a video of it? It was in downtown area you’d think there would at least be cctv footage of it!” another person asked.

The show’s premise follows federal agent Ben Hansen as he investigates UFO sightings across America and tries to determine whether or not the encounters are real.

A number of other apparent UFO sightings have occurred across the US, The U.S. Sun has previously reported.
