AN INFLUENCER with 1.5million followers has been found dead after she was suspected of having been killed by her ex-boyfriend.
Brazilian Beatriz dos Anjos Miranda, 24, was strangled to death in her car before it was set on fire.
Cops arrested her ex-boyfriend Antônio LÃcio Morais da Costa, 20, soon after.
The 24-year-old mum-of-two was found dead in the burnt-out vehicle owned by Antonio in the early hours of Saturday morning in the city of Maracanua in the north-eastern Brazilian state of Ceara.
Beatriz was popular on the social media app Kwai and was known for posting comedy, dance, and ‘day in the life’ type videos.
Brazilian news outlet G1 said the couple had a row in the car before Antônio allegedly went into the back seat and strangled her with the seatbelt.
And in chilling footage posted hours before the alleged murder the pair appear to be in a major row, including with Beatriz stabbing Antonio with siccors.
Antonio has now been charged with femicide by by public prosecutors.
The couple often joked about their supposedly ‘toxic’ relationship in the videos they posted together.
Antonio, who was remanded in custody after appearing before a judge, was already known to police.
In February, Beatriz recorded him being knocked to the ground during an altercation with traffic cops who stopped the 20-year-old and discovered his motorbike shouldn’t have been on the road.
