Can Gyokeres continue scoring run?

Viktor Gyokeres appears to have finally found his stride on the field.

Admittedly, I have been among the skeptics, having voiced my doubts about the Swedish forward’s role in Arsenal’s attacking future.

Up until the previous month, Gyokeres was visibly struggling in the offensive line. Despite his efforts to reach through balls and crosses, he frequently found himself out of position, unable to capitalize on scoring opportunities.

He was seldom making an impact, and when opportunities did arise, he often mishandled them.

However, the narrative has shifted remarkably in recent weeks.

Gyokeres is now firing on all cylinders. Since New Year’s Day, Gyokeres has netted more goals in all competitions than any other Premier League player, with six. He also has three in his last two league games.

Big Gyok finally looks like the clinical striker he was brought in to be.

The question is: can he continue his scoring run this evening?
