A STARVING four-year-old girl has been pulled from a house of horrors where she was forced to live off chocolate as her dead mom and disabled brothers’ bodies decomposed.

A family member grabbed the rail-thin child and ran after bursting into the locked home and finding her lying in bed alongside the bug-ridden corpses.

Lisa Cotton, 38, and her eight-year-old son Nazir Millien were found dead on Friday night, but the brave surviving daughter is in stable condition, family members told the New York Post.

Emergency responders rushed to the filthy apartment in Bronx, New York, after Lisa’s 17-year-old daughter went to check on them.

Hubert Cotton, Lisa’s dad, hadn’t heard from her, so he sent his grandchild to look for her.

When she arrived, the teen found the little girl suffering through hellish conditions and barely surviving by eating treats, Hubert said.

The Administration for Children’s Services had knocked on the door the day before, but they left the property after not hearing anything.

And cops had visited that Tuesday for a wellness check, but they didn’t open the door because they didn’t notice a foul smell.

It’s unclear just how long Nazir and Lisa were dead, but family members guess it could have been up to two weeks.

Their bodies had no visible signs of trauma, according to cops, and the medical examiner is working to determine a cause.

Nazir suffered from disabilities that prevented him from walking or eating solid food.

NEIGHBORS REPORTED STENCH

Lisa’s neighbors blasted ACS for not doing more after learning of the family’s tragic deaths.

“They didn’t do s**t,” said Sabrina Coleson, who lives in the building, told the Post.

“They were here ringing people’s bells the day before the wellness check. One rang mine and asked if I had any concerns upstairs.”

Coleson described Lisa as “a very cool girl,” and said she had only seen the little girl with her, never the boy.

Lisa had a history with ACS and had been arrested in 2021 on child abandonment charges after allegedly leaving the four-year-old behind during a disturbing episode, law enforcement sources told the Post.

At the time, she was allegedly seen swinging a stroller and lighting a wig on fire, police said.

It’s unclear how officials responded to the reported incident, as the case is sealed.

MOM’S STRUGGLE

The family said Lisa had struggled for years caring for Nazir, who required constant medical support, they told the New York Times.

Her brother said the building had no elevator, forcing Lisa to carry him in a wheelchair up and down stairs.

“My sister, she didn’t really have too many people to help,” Akim Cotton said, noting their elderly father and stepmother weren’t in good health.

Nazir was born prematurely and used a feeding tube, according to the family.

Despite the stress, neighbors said Lisa loved her children deeply.

Coleson said she had cooked for the family a few times. Ms. Cotton, she said, was “a nice girl” who loved her children.

Police had reportedly been called to the apartment earlier in the week but left after claiming they didn’t detect any odor.

City officials say the case is under active investigation, and the medical examiner’s office will release more information in the coming days.

ACS didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
